Yeah, it's retractable. Probably wouldnt have gone that route if I'd started the plane, but it's what I got!
The original fairings were aluminum, pretty dented up. I'll make new ones from Carbon Fiber.

Wheel Fairing Plug
I'll cover the plug with Bondo, then pull a
female mold from that.
